Viet America lawyer says OC lawsuit is inaccurate and a ‘hatchet job’

The attorney for Viet America Society on Friday, Aug. 16, said the County of Orange’s lawsuit accusing some charity leadership, including the daughter of Supervisor Andrew Do, of plundering $10.4 million in COVID relief funds was “garbage” and grossly inaccurate.

“They threw anything they could into this, any rumors, any innuendos. They threw Mr. Do’s daughter in there just for glamour,” said attorney Mark Rosen. “It’s a hatchet job.”

The properties listed in the lawsuit cut a swath through the central part of the county and range from two-story homes to a dilapidated condemned building on a busy thoroughfare. Register reporters knocked on each of their doors on Friday, and this is what they found.
